IN LOVING MEMORY OF
John Michael
Perciful
November 16, 1957 – September 2, 2024
John M. Perciful , 66, entered into eternity on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas. Born with a love for adventure and service, John dedicated his life to his family, his country, and his passions.
For over 20 years, John worked as a professional truck driver, expertly navigating the open road with a deep understanding of the highways and byways across America. His career as a truck driver was preceded by18 years of distinguished service in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a master welder. His time in the Marines brought him to South Carolina, where he discovered a lifelong love for fishing and boating, spending countless peaceful hours on the water.
John was a man of many interests, but few things brought him more joy than his beloved 2013 Dodge Challenger. A true muscle car enthusiast, John was always tinkering and improving, never settling for anything less than perfection. His Challenger was more than just a car—it was a reflection of his passion for life and constant drive for improvement.
John was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Hamilton, by his father, John Perciful and by his sisters, Charlene Bullock and Patricia Bullock.
Survivors include his loving wife, Tammy Perciful of Henryville, Indiana, his sons, Britton Michael Perciful of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, John Isac Perciful of Buford, South Carolina and Scott Laliberte of Lewiston, Main. John was also a loving pappy to his four grandchildren, John Riley Perciful, Broady Perciful, Savanah Perciful and Ariana Laliberte.
