Jimmie Glenn Oliver, 78, entered eternal life on Monday, August 21, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He retired from I.U.S., and had previously worked for Durkee's Famous Foods as a machine operator.  Jimmie attended Grace Family Worship in Jeffersonville and loved collecting old railroad lanterns.  He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Kendall Oliver, New Albany, daughters, Debbie (Kenneth) Spencer, Sellersburg, Lisa Oliver Clayton, New Albany, grandchildren, Jimmie Shane Spencer, Chris Clayton, Brittney Mercer, Jacob Clayton, Donovan Clayton and eight great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 1PM Wednesday at the Garr Funeral Home with burial to follow at Abundant Life Cemetery in New Albany.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana, 502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.garrfuneralservices.com
