Jeremy Ray Swank, 47, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away September 5, 2026. He was born on July 23, 1979, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Mike Simmons and Regina Thompson.

Jeremy was a talented tattoo artist who found great joy in expressing himself through art. He loved to draw and paint and had a natural gift for creating things that reflected his creativity and individuality. Outside of his artwork, Jeremy enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Above all, he had a deep passion for motorcycles and loved the freedom and excitement that came with riding.

Jeremy will be remembered for his artistic spirit, his love of adventure, and the special memories he created with his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mike Simmons and Regina Thompson.

Jeremy is survived by his loving wife, Brittany Swank; his son, Liam Swank; his daughter, Amber Case; and his sisters, Mellissa White and Michelle Alexander, along with extended family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Though he is no longer with us, Jeremy’s memory will live on through the art he created, the roads he traveled, and most importantly, the people he loved

A memorial ride and candlelight vigil will be held at a later date.
