Jennifer R. Walton , 58, entered eternal life on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was born on March 1, 1964 to the late Raymond and Doris Pressel (Kroening). Jennifer spent her retirement years playing Bunco, Yahtzee, working her puzzles with her grand kids and cheering on her favorite basketball team, the Indiana Hoosiers. In her free time she loved to watch her grand kids with their activities, crochet and watch Hallmark movies. Jennifer was preceded in death by her two brothers, Norm and Tommy Pressel.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, David Walton of Sellersburg, Indiana, her sons, David Walton, Jr. (Megan) of New Albany, Indiana, Kurtis Fortner (Shayna) of Sellersburg, Indiana, her daughters, Kandi McMillan (Charles) of Sellersburg, Indiana, Danielle Beran (Tim) of Sylvania, Ohio, her brothers, Charlie Pressel of Michigan, Glen Pressel (Tee) of Sellersburg, Indiana, her sisters Kathie Rollings of Sellersburg, Indiana, Betty Hannon of Austin, Indiana and many nieces and nephews. Jennifer also leaves behind 11 grandchildren to cherish her memory, Layton, Ivy, Lukas, Kennadi, Cassie, Karmen, Shelby, Brooklynn, Charlie, Scarlett and Sawyer.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Garr Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 P. M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
