Jeanne Dee Meredith (Jones) , 66, of Memphis Indiana, died 27 November 2023, at home surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on 27 November 1957, to Thomas Harold Jones and Agnes Eulalia Jones (Akers) in Louisville, Kentucky.

Jeanne graduated from Atherton High School in 1975, she then attended the University of Louisville for her Undergraduate Degree in Dental Hygiene, later she obtained her Master's Degree in Public Health Education from Austin Peay State University.

She married Floyd (Tim) Irvin Meredith Jr.  on 17 November 1979 and they had two children, Shannon Lynn Balentine (Meredith) and Dustin Robert Meredith. After being widowed in 2008, Jeanne found love again with Gilbert Steve Brown.

She worked as a Dental Hygienist throughout Kentuckiana, later owned and operated McClure's Drugs pharmacy in Clarksville Indiana for over two decades, and she finally retired from Jefferson County Schools as a Career Academy Coach in 2022.

She was an avid dog lover, traveler, and artist. Jeanne was a former member of Job's Daughters, Balloon Society of Kentucky, Indiana Bulldog Rescue, Boy Scouts of America, and Girl Scouts of America. She loved her family and friends.

Jeanne is survived by her partner Gilbert Steve Brown, daughter Shannon Lynn Balentine (Meredith), son Dustin Robert Meredith, granddaughter Jaylene Avery Breckenridge, sister Dr. Kristie Jones Paris (Wilbur Lee), and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Harold Jones, mother Agnes Eulalia Jones, husband Floyd Irvin Meredith Jr., and sister Cherie Annette Blackburn (Jones).

Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday December 2, 2023 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg  with Michael Gillenwater officiating. Interment will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held on Friday December 1, 2023 from 10:00am until 8:00pm and on Saturday from 9:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
