Sellersburg, Indiana Janis "Jan" Smith , 68, passed away on December 22, 2015 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was born on January 29, 1947 to Stanley and Helena Smith in Louisville, Kentucky. Jan earned her Bachelors degree in Chemistry from Indiana University. She was an Environmental Engineer for most of her career. She was an employee of ICI America. Janis was a long time Jeff Gordon fan. Jan was preceded in death by both of her parents.
