Jane Anne Leuty, a beloved resident of New Pekin, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, at the age of 71. Born in Madison, Indiana, on a warm Thursday, September 9th, 1954, Jane lived a life full of love, dedication, and generosity. She spent her youth in Corydon, Indiana and was a graduate of Corydon High School.

Jane is survived by her loving sons, Krishan Kelly (Crystal), Clay Hammond (Lauren Freeze), and Benjamin Hammond and cherished daughter Cameron Kelly-Riley (Andrew). She was a devoted grandmother to Reagan, Aiden, Cooper, Lucy, Creighton, Aiden, Shelby, and Ben, and an adoring great-grandmother to Yvonne. Jane joins her father Ralph S. Leuty, her mother Carol M. Leuty, and her brothers Tom "Butch" Hunt and Randy Leuty in heavenly peace.

Jane was a loving daughter, caring for her parents in the sunset of their lives. She approached every role in life with kindness and grace, from her professional role as a hostess to her personal dedication as the beloved matriarch of the family. Her compassionate heart was evident in her love for animals; never could she turn away a stray, whether it be animal or human. She found immense joy in her flower garden, relishing her time spent on the patio amongst the blooms, and with long chats with friends and family.. Jane’s love for travel and knack for discovering treasures in thrift shops and antique stores revealed her zest for life and appreciation for its journey. Jane was proudly patriotic, she loved her country!

Her culinary skills were unmatched, and she took great pleasure in entertaining family and friends. Jane’s home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and a sense of belonging, qualities for which she will always be remembered. She was indeed a supreme multitasker, balancing life’s many demands with humility and ease.

Friends and family are invited to honor Jane’s memory and legacy during the visitation held at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg, Indiana. Visitation will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
