James Robert "JR" Mounts , 56, of Sellersburg, IN, passed from this life on June 22, 2021, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.  He was born on May 15, 1965, in Winterpark, FL.  He was employed at Mitchell Plastics in Charlestown, IN, and was a member of the IBEW Local 369 as a Journeyman Wireman Electrician and held additional certifications in HVAC.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and looked forward to the annual trip to the Smokies with his wife.  He also enjoyed time spent with family and fellow Union members at the Union picnic at Louisville Zoo each Labor Day.  He was an avid computer geek and loved to build computer systems for his family.

He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family which includes his wife of nearly 11 years, Tamara "Tammy" Mounts of Sellersburg, IN; daughter, Katelyn Mounts with granddaughter Raelynn Mounts; step-sons, Jacob and Jeremiah Lott; mother, Sherry Mounts; father and step-mother, Robert Mounts and Eunsook Park; brother, Steve Mounts and wife Stephanie; step-brother, Minu Oh;  step-sister, Samia Mounts and husband Jonny Mantra; and step-sister, Ashley Mounts.

Friends and Family are invited to visit on Friday, June 25th, from 1:00-2:00 pm at Gateway Tabernacle (809 S. Lincoln St., Martinsville, IN 46151).  A service celebrating his life will begin at the church at 2 pm. There will be no burial.
