James Harold Hinton, 65, entered eternal life on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Baptist Health Floyd.  He was a New Albany High School Class of 1973 graduate, retired from APEX Trailer Service, attended Georgetown Christian Church, member of Jefferson 104/New Albany 39 Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, York Rite, Murat Shriners and Tri County Shrine Club.  James was also an Eagle Scout.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James Bruce and Juanita Hinton and an infant son, James Bruce Hinton.  Surviving are his loving wife of 23 years, Vonda Huntsman Hinton, son, James Michael Hinton, daughter, Crystal Washington, sisters, Juanita Oakley, Janice Durham, grandchildren, Kennan and Arissa Washington, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, February 1, 2021 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday, January 30, from 12Noon until 8P.M., Sunday from 2-8PM and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Monday.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
