James H. Gouldy , 66, entered eternal life on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on September 8, 1955 to the late Robert and Ada Gouldy (McGruw). James was a retired Building Engineer for Hines Interests (Aegon Center) of Louisville, Kentucky. He was a Jeffersonville High School graduate and a member of the Bethany Christian Church of Charlestown. He was a member of the Jeffersonville Elks Club for many years. James enjoyed a good round of Golf and Poker night with his friends. He cherished his family and the quality time he spent with them. James was preceded in death by his son, Steven Gouldy and by his brother, Robert "Bob" Gouldy.

Survivors include his son, Justin Gouldy (Andrea) of Sellersburg, his two nephews, Scott and Matthew Gouldy and his sister-in-law, Tina Gouldy.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
