James Everett Doss, 76, entered eternal life on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He served his country honorably in the United States Army 25th Infantry and retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad.  James was a member of Grace Community Church, Southern Indiana Modeler's Club, served on Reserve Board for Clark Co. Sheriff's Dept. and Scout Leader and Master for Troop 6.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Ruby Doss.  Surviving are his loving wife, Ellen Doss, daughter, Laura (Darryll) Schenck, sons, Brandon (Stefanie) Doss, Rodney (Renee) Doss, brothers, Jerry (Janet) Doss, Bob (Diane) Doss, Larry (Renee) Doss, sister, Mary Ann (Ronnie) Coffman and five, grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 2PM Sunday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday from 1-8PM and anytime after Noon until the time of service on Sunday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Grace Community Church, 124 S.
