James "Eddie" Benson, 68, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service.  Eddie was preceded in death by his father, James Robert Benson.  He is survived by his loving wife, Dianna Pittman Benson, Henryville, mother, Cleota Benson, Jeffersonville, son, Jim Benson, Sellersburg, daughter, Trishalana "Missi" Nolan, New Albany, step-daughter, Kelly Ueding, Jeffersonville, step-son, Tony Bryant, Henryville, brother, Mike Benson, Floyds Knobs, sisters, Patricia Wolhgemuth, Martinsburg, Tammie Benson, Jeffersonville, nine grandchildren and four, great-grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held 6PM Thursday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4PM until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana, 502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
