Jackie "Jack" Wayne Richards, 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on July 27th.  Jack as he was known by family and friends, was born September 30th, 1948 in Glasgow, Kentucky to Lecel and Mary Richards of Sellersburg.  He served his country in the United States Army, retired from Colgate Palmolive and was an avid University of Louisville fan.  Jack was preceded in death by his father, Lecel Ray Richards and two brother-in-laws, Pat Middleton and Tony Baird.  Surviving are, his wife of 43 years, Wendelin Richards, Memphis, son, Wayne (Jill) Richards, Crestwood, Kentucky, daughters, Jennifer Stauffer, Henryville, Michelle Friedly, Henryville, Tiffany Loffland, Indianapolis, Samantha Markland, New Albany, sons, Jonathan (Kelsy) Richards, Jeffersonville and Shane (Alexis) Richards, Memphis, brother, Bobby (Pat) Richards, Hendersonville, Tennessee, sisters, Margaret Middleton, New Albany, Cindy (Mark) Lovan, Jeffersonville, thirteen grandchildren and eight, great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8PM and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Thursday.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
