Irene Watson, 96, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Rolling Hills Healthcare Center in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born on September 21, 1925 in McGregor, Texas, the daughter of Fred and Bertha Lange.  She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John F. Watson, daughter, Shirley Watson Gross (Kevin), Bloomington, Indiana, three grandchildren, Amber Craig Renk, Ryan Craig, Bloomington, Indiana, Derek Gross (Kirstie Adair), New Albany, Indiana, three, great-grandchildren, Sloane Craig-Stake, Vaughan Renk and Damien Renk all of Bloomington, Indiana.  She is also survived by her brother, Jerry Lange and his wife Bonnie of Highland, Texas.  Irene was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Ann Watson, sisters, Laverne Dockey and Freida Popelka, brothers, Floyd Lange, Frederick Lange, Roy Lee Lange and Lonnie Lange.  A Celebration of Life will be held from 11AM-1PM on Friday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
