Helen Hargesheimer , 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born on August 20, 1936 to the late Daniel and Olga Klimansky. Helen retired from BellSouth Telephone Co. after 28 years and was an employee of Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.  She belonged to the Telephone Pioneers, Ladies Auxiliary VFW 1832 and also the Fraternal Order of Police # 181 of Clark County.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Hargesheimer, her son, Stephen Hargesheimer, her sister, Martha Virtue, her four brothers, John, Wallace, Mike and Walter Klimansky. She was a member of Graceland Baptist Church and is survived by her granddaughter, Stephanie Hargesheimer ,  daughter-in-law, Andrea Hargesheimer  and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Sellersburg Cemetery. Due to the pandemic situation a private visitation will be held at the Garr Funeral Home prior to the service. Please consult Nance Floral Shoppe for floral  tribute options (812-945-5225)
