Harold L. Dean, Sr., 82, passed away on October 9, 2019 at Baptist Health Floyd surrounded by his family.  Harold was retired from CSX Transportation (formerly L & N Railroad).  He was formerly a ScoutMaster of Troop 6, Speed, a Little League Coach and a Firefighter with the Sellersburg Volunteer Fire Department.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sylvia Dean, his brother, Emory Dean and a grandson, Jordan Dean.  Harold is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Ellen Bolly, sons, Harold (Kim) Dean, Jr., Mark (Cheryl) Dean, grandchildren, Paige (Cody) Gedling, Kinsey Dean, Dylan Dean, great-grandchildren, Milo, Briar, Hazel, Ella and Alder.  Visitation will be Sunday from 12-7PM at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with a private burial on Monday at Bowery Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Bowery Cemetery, 12901 Columbus Mann Rd., Memphis, Indiana 47143.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
