Clarksville, Indiana

Georgia P. Cox , 80, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at her home in Clarksville surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 16, 1936 to the late Harland and Gertrude Cullins in Jefferson county Kentucky. Mrs. Cox retired from Floyd County School System where she worked as a baker.  In her spare time she enjoyed going to bingo, square dancing, camping, and outings with her Bunco club. Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Cox and her brothers, Jack and J.W. Cullins.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Bobay (Rajvinder) Singh of Corydon, Indiana, her sons, Rick (Mary) Bobay of Borden, Indiana, Tommy (Mauri) Cox of Henryville, Indiana, and her brother Carl Cullins of Borden, Indiana.  Mrs. Cox also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with cremation to follow. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 12:00 P.M.  until the time of the service at the funeral home.
