George P. Cook, 76, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.  He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps and retired from North America Transport.  Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Dinah Cook, son, George R. Cook, daughter, Leighda Stine, step-sons, Brad Floyd, Tim Floyd, brother, Darrell Wayne Cook, sister, Gloria Jennings, ten grandchildren and fourteen, great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 2PM Thursday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8PM and anytime after 11AM until the time of service on Thursday.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
