Freda T. Neal Doughty, 94, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Floyd Memorial Hospital.  Freda was born on November 10, 1920 in New Albany to Otto and Julia Neal. She worked at Clark Memorial Hospital in the nursery taking care of the babies from 1963 until her retirement in 1983 . She was a member of Speed Memorial Church in Sellersburg, Indiana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Elijah Boes, her husband, William Elmer Doughty, her granddaughter Jennifer Brooke Kasse, her sisters, Anna Lee and Rose Marie Smith and her brothers, Kenneth, Norman and Raymond Neal.

Son:                 Michael A. (Linda) Doughty, Georgetown, Indiana

Daughter:          Patricia N. (Chuck) Kasse, New Albany, Indiana

Four Grandsons:                Joseph (Julie) Kasse, Bryan (Janie) Kasse, Christopher (Chrissy) Doughty and Patrick (Chrissy) Doughty

Six Great-Grandchildren:     Kyle Doughty, Cooper Doughty,  Hunter Kasse, Lucas Kasse, Jacob Kasse and Austin Jamison

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 PM Saturday August 29, 2015 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with a private burial to follow. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, American Diabeties Association or Speed Memorial Church.
