Frances E. Spaulding

95, passed away on Saturday April 29,

2017 at Westminster Health Care in

Clarksville, Indiana. She was born on

September 14, 1921 to the late Edward

and Alice Knieriemen in Georgetown,

Indiana. Mrs. Spaulding was a member of

the Grace Community Church in

Sellersburg and a member of The Order

of the Eastern Star in Corydon, Indiana.

In her spare time Mrs. Spaulding enjoyed

sewing and gardening. She was preceded

in death by her husband, Arthur

Spaulding, her Brother, Perry Knieriemen,

and her sister, Kathryn Spaulding.

Survivors include her son, David

(Barbara) Spaulding of Memphis, Indiana;

her two sisters, Violet Gatewood of

Covington, Kentucky, and Helen Kemple

of Louisville, Kentucky; her

grandchildren, Beth (Brent) Calloway of

Martinsburg, Indiana, Benjamin Spaulding

of Memphis and her five great

grandchildren, Chloe, DaKota, Aiden,

Lincoln, and Asher. Mrs. Spaulding also

leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday

May 2, 2017 at the Garr Funeral Home in

Sellersburg with interment to follow at

Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.

Visitation will be held on Monday from

2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday

from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the

service at the funeral home. Memorial
