Evelyn "Rita" Schroder , 76, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at her home in Sellersburg. She was born on December 26, 1940 in Louisville to William and Catherine (Brangers) Nowacki. Rita was a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church, St. Joe Hill Campus. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Dick Schroder, both parents, and granddaughter, Meagen Beyerle. She is survived by daughters, Cindy (Joe) Kruer, Floyds Knobs, Laura (Bill) Beyerle, Sellersburg, son, Rick Schroder, Sellersburg, grandchildren, George (Sarah) Budd, Halle Nauman, Max Nauman, Brittany Beyerle, Catie (Shaun) Buckland, Zach Beyerle, great grandchildren, Sophia Budd, Amelia Buckland, and sister, Jean Hall.

Funeral mass will be held 11a.m. Monday at the St. Joe Hill Catholic Church in Sellersburg. Visitation will be Sunday from Noon until 8 p.m. at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.
