Emilie Marie Fulcher , 78, entered into eternal life on April 30, 2022 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg, Indiana. She was born in Wolcott, Indiana to the late William and Emma Furrer (Farney) on August 29, 1943.

Emilie taught for 34 years at Silver Creek High School, where she was the senior class sponsor. She loved her students, and enjoyed taking them to see the wonders of the world.  Her travels took her as far away as Europe and Asia, and as close as Washington DC.

Emilie loved to cook, as one of 12 children; she learned how to cook fast and well.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 51 years, 10 months, and 9 days, Jim Fulcher; son Darrell and his wife Amy; grandchildren Troy, Clayton, Courtney, William, Nolan, Blake, and Madelyn; great-grandchildren Lindsey Mae, Lincoln, and Levi.

Funeral Service will be at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Russell Livers officiating. Interment will follow in Sellersburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 5, 2022 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Garr Funeral Home.
