Elaine Lou Davis , age 55, entered eternal life on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Clark Memorial hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was born on January 4, 1966 in Louisville, Kentucky. Elaine was a home maker. She enjoyed baking, crafting and making her house a home. Elaine enjoyed her time with the Bunco club. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Smith and by her Nephew, Sean Hager.

Survivors include her loving husband, Steve Davis of Jeffersonville, Indiana, her son, Steven Davis, Jr. (Shelby) of Jeffersonville, her daughters, Melissa Moody (Daniel) of Clarksville, Indiana, Tyla Gernert of Charlestown, her brother, Andy Smith (Mary) of Louisville, her sisters, Lina Hager (Tim) of Frankfort, Kentucky, Stephanie Smith of Louisville, her three grandchildren, Dalton Moody, Callie Moody and Penelope Gernert and many nieces and nephews. Elaine also leaves behind her two special friends to cherish her memory, Jella Glotzbach and Donna Roberts.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
