Edwin Steinmetz Sedwick, 72, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Baptist Hospital in La Grange, Kentucky. He was born on October 3, 1946 to the late John and Edna (Steinmetz) Sedwick II in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Mr. Sedwick was a retired trial lawyer. His firm Edwin S. Sedwick Attorney at Law was located in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Mr. Sedwick was a 1968 graduate of Indiana University (Bloomington). He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1971. Mr. Sedwick was preceded in death by his father, John Sedwick, II, mother, Edna Sedwick, and brother, John Sedwick III.

Mr. Sedwick is survived by his sons, Marc Sedwick (Cherie) of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, Erik Sedwick of Nashville, Tennessee, and daughter, Andrea Sedwick of San Diego, California. Mr. Sedwick also leaves behind two grandchildren, Cory Sedwick and Christian Sedwick.

A Celebration of Life event will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019, anytime between the hours of 5:00 to 8:00 pm, at the The Carriage House located at the Howard Steamboat Museum, 1101 E. Market St., Jeffersonville, IN 47130 ~ Celebration of Life Program at 6:00 pm.
