Sellersburg, Indiana Dorothy Swarens Rountree, 87, entered eternal life on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Rolling Hills Healthcare Center in New Albany.  She retired from Clark Memorial Hospital after 46 years and a member of Grace Community Church in Sellersburg.  Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Olivia Larson, her first husband, Arvil Swarens, second husband, Kenneth Rountree, brother, Albert Larson and her aunt, Lois Hancock.  Surviving are, sons, Albert A. Swarens and his partner, Norman Judd, New Albany, David Lee (Mary Jo) Swarens, Memphis, grandchildren, Heather, Justin, Brad, Amy and Amanda, step-grandchildren, Micheal and Franchesca twelve, great-grandchildren and six, step-great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8PM and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Wednesday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana, 502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
