Dorothy G. McCurdy, 75, of Summerfield, Florida, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 surrounded by her children. She was born in New Albany, Indiana on October 17, 1942 and is preceded in death by her husband Ted McCurdy and her father, Edward F. Goldsmith. Surviving are her mother, Luella Goldsmith, daughter, Kelly (McCurdy) Moll, son, Patrick McCurdy, daughter in-law, Kathy McCurdy, granddaughter, Jillian McCurdy, grandson, Matthew McCurdy, sisters, Lonnie Russell, Jean Hogan and Betty Mercer. Visitation with family and friends will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg, Indiana followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 3:00 PM. Cremation was chosen by the family and a private internment will take place at a later date at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida alongside her husband.
