Dorothy A. Carroll Ehringer, 81, entered eternal life on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Westminster Village in Clarksville.  She was born on April 6, 1937 to the late Joseph and Sadie Francis.  Dorothy retired from Providence Retirement Home in New Albany.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Ehringer, son, David John Carroll, brothers, Joe and Dick Francis and a sister, Delores Gubash.  Dorothy was a loving mother of six children, Ronnie Carroll, Jr., Timothy (Rose) Carroll, Catherine (David) Jones, Joy (Howard) Klein, Amy (Brian) Brooks and Lydia (Kevin) Arachikavitz.  She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Funeral services  will be held 11AM Saturday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 12-8PM and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Down Syndrome of Louisville, 5001 S.
