Dorothy M. Haas, 95, passed away on Monday August 1, 2016 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg. She was born on May 23, 1921 to John and Elizabeth Bottorff in Charlestown, Indiana. Dorothy retired from Clark Memorial Hospital, where she worked as a Purchasing Department secretary. She was a past member of the Sellersburg Church of Christ and present member of Northside Christian Church in New Albany, Indiana. Dorothy was a member of the Prather Ladies Union Club, she enjoyed traveling and was an excellent cook. She was preceded in death by her husband David F. Haas, her brother Junior Bottorff, her sister Jane Graf, and a granddaughter Amy Jo Back.

Daughter:                  Patricia (Ronnie) Back- Sellersburg, Indiana

4 Grandchildren:      Stacie Vanover, Chuck Back, Kristina Killion, and Kimberly Camp

6 Great- Grandchildren:    Tess Vanover, Jake Vanover, Chloe Killion,

Brooks Killion, Molly Potter, and Kennedy Potter

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday August 4, 2016 at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg, Indiana with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Prather Ladies Union Club or to Maple Manor Christian Home.
