Doris Elinor Copler , 93, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany, Indiana. She was born in Palmyra, Indiana to the late Lewis and Mamie (Timperman) Loughmiller on January 14, 1924. Mrs. Copler was a homemaker and member of the St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Paul Campus) in Sellersburg.  She was a member of the St. Joe Senior Citizens Club, Speed Memorial Church Senior Club, Bethel Baptist Senior Club, Senior Care Clark Memorial Hospital and the Quilters Club of St. Paul Catholic Church.  Mrs. Copler was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Copler, her brother, Robert Loughmiller and her step-grandson, Jeremy Morphis.

Survivors include her sons, James Copler (Vickie) of New Albany, Indiana, Jeff Copler (Yvonne) of New Albnay, her daughters, Judith Ann Copler-Kenrick (Pat) of Centerville, Ohio, Janice Jackson (Rick) of Sellersburg, her grandchildren Audrey, Allison, Ashley, Kristi and Andrew, her step-grandchildren, Grant, Gracie, and Gretchen. Mrs. Copler also leaves behind two great grandchildren.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M.  on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
