Doris M. Fox, age 74 born April 11, 1948 passed away peacefully at Green Valley Care Center in New Albany.  She is a retired employee of the Census Bureau in Jeffersonville.   She had lived in Jeffersonville for a long time.

She is the daughter of the late Jessie Fox and Alice O. Fox. Also, proceeded in death by a brother, Jessie C. Fox, and beloved cat, Sheda.  She is survived by her siblings, Barbara A. Kirk (Dennis), New Albany, Alice "Faye" Durbin, New Albany, Wanda G. Bensing, New Albany, Christopher L. Fox (Teresa), Borden, Teddy E. Fox (Teresa), Floyds Knobs and Melissa D. Ferguson (Brian), Borden.  Also by many nieces and nephews.  She loved to play games, take walks, collecting stamps, ancestry on her family, looking for four leaf clovers, animal lover, especially cats and dogs, and nature lover.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow at Miller Cemetery in Borden, Indiana.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
