Donnie Jewell, 72, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at Clark Memorial Hospital.  He was owner/operator of Jewell Body Shop in Sellersburg, a member of the Sellersburg Moose Lodge #1757 and American Legion Post #204.  Donnie was an avid fisherman and I.U. Basketball fan.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Catherine Jewell, Sisters, Louise Tate and Eula Mae Greenwood.  Surviving are, son, Kevin (Kristy) Jewell, Lakewood Ranch, Florida, daughter, Michelle (Eric) Jewell Roush, Holton, Indiana, brother, Ronnie Jewell, Sellersburg, Indiana, sisters, Aldean (Don) McRae, Underwood, Indiana, Jeanee Cooper, Sellersburg, Indiana, Joyce (Donald) Jackson, Romeoville, Illinois, Marlene (Robert) Wilson, Sellersburg, Indiana, grandchildren, Ryan Machado, Kate Machado and Kyle Jewell.  Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Silver Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8PM at the funeral home and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Friday.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
