Donald "Mike" Garrett, Sr., 60, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on July 9, 1959 to the late Samuel and Wanda Garrett (Broaddus) in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Mr. Garrett worked for the Indiana Department of Transportation within the highway department. Through the years he enjoyed hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. Mr. Garrett was preceded in death by his first wife, Agatha Garrett.

Survivors include his son, Donald Garrett, Jr. (Stephanie) of Sellersburg,  and his sisters, Virtie Middleton (Steve) of Jeffersonville and Claudette Leitner (Robert) of Henryville. Mr. Garrett also leaves 4 grandchildren to cherish his memory, Donavan Garrett, Mackenzie Garrett, Dyan Garrett and Ceily Davis.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
