Debra "Debbie" L. Adams, 65, entered eternal life on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on September 25, 1954 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to James and Ina Adams (Weber). Debbie retired from Mercer Transportation after 36 years of service in the Tariffs Department. She was a member of the Sellersburg Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school for many years. Debbie thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the Sweet Adelines . She was preceded in death by her father, James Adams.

Survivors include her mother, Ina Adams of Jeffersonville, her brothers, John Adams (Janet) of Sellersburg, Jeff Adams (Melanie) of New Albany, and Jerry Adams (Lois) of Princeton, Indiana. Debbie also leaves behind 12 nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M.  on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the Sellersburg Church of Christ ( 213 S New Albany St, Sellersburg, IN 47172 ) with interment to follow in Sellersburg, Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg and on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
