David W. Tandy, 65, entered eternal life on Friday, May 8, 2020 at his home.  He served his country honorably in the United States Army and retired from Walmart Transportation after 30 years.  David was a 1973 graduate of Suda E. Butler High School in Louisville and attended Morehead State University from 1982-1983.  He was an avid outdoorsman.  David was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Tandy.  Surviving are his loving wife, Brenda Pemberton Tandy, Sellersburg, son, Michael Tandy, Mt. Washington, daughter Jordan Tandy, Mt. Washington, step-children, Kreigh (Melissa) Hentrup, Louisville, Ryan Padgett, Paoli, brother, Charles Glenn (Trudie) Tandy, Jr., Munich, Germany, niece, Julia Tandy, Fredricksburg, Virginia, grandchildren, Rhett Cooper Hentrup and Deacon Gage Padgett.  A celebration of life will be held at 3PM on Thursday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.  Visitation will be Thursday from 11AM until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Back Packs of Blessings, Orange County Community Foundation, 1275 N.
