David Thomas Pierce , 56, entered eternal life on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born on August 24, 1965 to Russell and Alice Pierce (Blair) in Louisville, Kentucky. David loved fishing, hunting and being in the great outdoors. Western movies and classic cars always kept his interest. He was an avid coin collector. The older the better! In recent years he enjoyed watching funny social media videos on his cell phone. David was preceded in death by his father, Russell Pierce.

Survivors include his loving mother, Alice Palmer of Underwood, Indiana, his brother, Steven R. Pierce (Zenaida) of Frederick, Maryland, his sister, Karen Ellenbrand of Underwood, Indiana, his nieces and nephews, Daniel, Jessica, Joshua and Mila and by his aunts, Janet Osborne, Glenda Osborn and Nancy Palmer. David also leaves behind many cousins and extended family to cherish his memory.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, February 18, 2022 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
