DAVID F. HAAS , 97, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016, at Maple Manor Christian Home.  He served his country honorably in the United States Army, retired from the Postal Service after 23 years and was a member of Northside Christian Church in New Albany.  David enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carlos "Gus" Haas and Donald Haas, and two sisters, Georgia Gerrard and Helena Bridgewater, and a granddaughter, Amy Jo Back.

Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8PM and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Thursday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Maple Manor Christian Home, 643 W.
