Sellersburg, Indiana David Everitt Allen, 68, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at his home.  He served his country in the United States Marine Corps., a 67' Silver Creek Graduate, retired electrician at Lubrizol, an avid golfer and outdoorsman.  David was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Edward Allen and Ruth Jane Miller, step-father, Hester Miller and a brother, Ronnie L. Allen.  Surviving are his daughter, Mary K. Allen, Brandenburg, Kentucky, brother, Kenneth (Sheldon) Allen, Bowling Green, Kentucky, sisters, Bonnie (Lee) Motsinger, Elizabeth, Indiana, Cindy (Don) Berry, Memphis, Indiana, Lisa (Joe) Fackler, Charlestown, Indiana, granddaughter, Alannah Allen and two, great-grandchildren, Braxton and Edward.  Cremation was chosen by the family and a memorial service will be held 1PM Saturday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.  Visitation will be Saturday from 11AM until the time of service.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
