Daniel L. Martin, a beloved resident of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, at the age of 60. Born in Louisville on August 17th, 1965, Daniel spent his life enriching the lives of those around him with his warm heart and unwavering dedication.

A professional truck driver for Talon Logistics, Daniel was the longest-tenured driver in the company presently. His commitment on the road was matched only by his devotion to his family and friends. He left a lasting impact on both the company and his colleagues, who admired him for his work ethic and camaraderie.

Daniel is survived by his loving brother, Thomas Martin (Nikki), his cherished best friend and companion, Nicci Shaver, and his dear step-daughter, Jaylyn Terrell. He is also remembered fondly by numerous extended family members and friends who will continue to cherish the memories they created together.

Preceded in death by his parents, Charles Earl Martin and Mary Gail Martin, as well as his sister, Dora Thomas, Daniel is now reunited with his loved ones in eternal peace.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Daniel touched are invited to celebrate his life during visitation at Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) on Sunday, December 7th, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A funeral service to honor Daniel's memory will be held on Monday, December 8th, 2025, at 11:00 am at the same location with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.
