Damian "DJ"
Beller
Oct 23, 1997 — Nov 3, 2026
Charlestown, Indiana
Damian Joseph Beller, affectionately known as “DJ” to his family and friends, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026, at the age of 29.
Born on October 23, 1997, DJ was a beloved son, grandson, twin brother, uncle, and friend whose life touched so many. He had a special gift for making connections, forming lasting friendships, and making everyone around him feel loved. He was loved by so many, and he loved you right back.
DJ found joy in life's simple pleasures: late-night fishing trips along the Ohio River, listening to classic country music, collecting little treasures along the way, gardening and sharing flowers with those he loved, and spending time with his beloved dog, Waylyn. He was a poet, an expert knapper of arrowheads, and an avid collector of marbles. He found beauty and meaning in the little things, and he had a way of making even the simplest moments memorable. Above all, one of his greatest joys was being an uncle to his nephew, Beau, a role he treasured more than words could express.
DJ will be remembered for his big heart, his unforgettable friendships, his humor, and the countless little moments that made being around him so special. Though his time here was far too short, the love he shared and the lives he touched will last a lifetime.
He is survived by his loving parents, Damian and Sharon Beller; his twin sister, Shelby Cunliffe (Evan Cunliffe); his cherished nephew, Beau Cunliffe; his grandparents and great-grandmother; his beloved dog, Waylyn; and the countless friends and loved ones who will forever carry him in their hearts.
There are no words to express the loss of someone so deeply loved. In DJ's memory, we ask that you spread a little kindness, tell a few terrible dad jokes, and every now and then, go catch a BIG fish in his honor.
A private celebration of life for close family and friends will be planned for a later date.
