Dale A. Samples , 63, passed away peacefully during the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 4 2020 at the University of Louisville, Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on January 16, 1957 to the late Alfred and Juanita Samples (Stewart) in New Albany, Indiana. Mr. Samples graduated from Indina University where he earned his history degree. He formerly worked at Manitwak Beverage Services. Mr. Samples was an avid IU Sports fan, enjoyed Super Late Model racing and watching NASCAR. He was prceded in death by his grandparents, James and Lillian Stewart.

Survivors include his brothers, Robin Samples of Sellersburg, Alan Samples of Sellersburg, Perry Samples (Julie) of New Albany, his nephews, Tyler Samples of New Albany, Jacob Samples of Los Angeles, California and his niece, Renee Daddona (Nick) of Greenville, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at St. Joe Hill Catholic Cemetery in Sellersburg. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
