Cory Allen Bower , 25, entered eternity on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at his home in Clarksville, Indiana. He was born on September 17, 1998, in Louisville, Kentucky. Cory was a 2017 graduate of Silver Creek High School and Prosser School of Technology where he studied auto mechanics. He was an Electrician by trade.

Cory was also a member of Calvary Christian Church in Sellersburg and was a proud member of the Independent Electrical Contractors. Outside of work, Cory found joy in many activities. He was an avid player of tabletop games and he loved the thrill of air soft and paintball. Cory's adventurous spirit was evident from a young age, as he grew up participating in Boy Scouts, learning valuable life skills, and making lasting memories.

Cory was preceded in death by his paternal Great-grandparents, Sharrell and Martha Bower, by his maternal  grandparents, Les and Judy Gaddie, by his paternal great-grandparents, Bill and Lois Monroe, by is step-grandmother, Lida Hardin and by his aunt, June Monroe.

Survivors include his father, Bruce Bower (Amy) of Charlestown, Indiana, his mother, Tracy Hardin (Larry) of Waddy, Kentucky, his brothers, Jacob Bower of Sellersburg, Justin McKinney of Waddy, Kentucky, his step-brother, Rj Jenkins of Charlestown, his sisters, Marianne Baker (Jacob) of Shelbyville, Kentucky, Adisynne Hardin of Waddy, Kentucky, his step-sister, Katie Rojas (Shane) of Charlestown, Indiana his paternal grandparents, Dennis and Lori Bower of Otisco, Indiana, his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Foreman of Taylorsville, Kentucky and his step-grandparents, John and Sherry McKim and Jr. Hardin of Shelbyville, Kentucky. Cory also leaves his nieces and nephews to cherish his memory, Leslieanne Baker, Rosie Rojas, Cali Rojas, River Rojas and one on the way.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172). Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M and on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
