Connie J. Morgan , a beloved member of the Clarksville community, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the age of 69. Born on November 5, 1955, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, Connie was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and a friend to many.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph C. Payne and Ruth A. Payne, and her sons, Charlie Locke and Joshua Locke. She is survived by her loving husband Floyd Morgan by her daughter, Carla Dowell, and her son, Lawrence Dowell. She leaves behind her brother, Glen Payne, sister, Sherill Payne, and her treasured grandchildren, Devon Goodloe, Markel Goodloe, and LeRon Dowell, as well as her great-grandchild, Markel Goodloe, Jr.

Connie dedicated many years of her life working as a custodian at Clarksville Elementary School, where she was known for her unwavering commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. She held a special place in her heart for the school children, always considering them an extended part of her family.

Beyond her work, Connie had a profound love for University of Kentucky Basketball and could often be found passionately cheering on her team. She also enjoyed baking and was admired for the warmth and immaculate care she put into her home. Family and friends fondly recall her ability to make everyone feel welcome, thanks to her spirited personality and her famously clean house.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 30, 2024 with interment to follow at Silver Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
