Clifford J. "Jerry" McKay, 83, of Memphis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Providence Nursing Home in New Albany, Indiana. He was born in Veevay, Indiana to the late Royal Clyde and Anna (Fagg) McKay. Mr. McKay was a member of Memphis Christian Church, and was a Minister at several Southern Indiana churches. He was a teacher at Henryville Elementary School. Mr. McKay enjoyed traveling, music and gardening in his spare time. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

Survivors include his loving wife, Joann McKay (nee Buck) of Memphis, son, Greg McKay(Amy Tyler), Memphis, daughter, Laura Gilbert (Jim) of Floyds Knobs, brother, Joe McKay of Clarksville and four grandchildren, Lauren McKay, Matthew McKay, Hope Gilbert and Kate Gilbert.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Memphis Christian Church with interment to follow at Bowery Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Garr Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the Church.
