Sellersburg, Indiana

Cletus J. Ehringer , 87, passed away on Friday March 31, 2017 at his home in Louisville, Kentucky surrounded by his loving wife and family. Mr. Ehringer was born on March 26, 1930 to the late Robert and Mary Ehringer in Sellersburg, Indiana. He retired from Louisville Cement as after 32 years of employment. Mr. Ehringer was a United States Navy veteran and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church (St. Paul Campus). He was preceded in death his wife Mintie Ehringer, his brother, Arthur Ehringer, his sisters, Matilda Michael and Martha Warren.  Survivors include his wife, Irene Ehringer of Louisville, his sons, Paul Ehringer of Sellersburg, Timothy Ehringer of Somerset, Kentucky, Kenneth (Delma) Ehringer of New Albany, Indiana, Danny (Rita) Roarx of Louisville, Leslie (Barb) Roarx of Eastview, Kentucky, his daughters, Darlene (Buddy) Burks of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, Brenda (Ronnie) Carr of Louisville, and his sister, Rita Kannappel of Sellersburg. Mr. Ehringering also leaves behind multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A funeral service will take place at 1 P.M.  on Monday April 3, 2017 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Monday from 11A.M. until the time of the service. Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
