Christy L. Visetchaisri , 48, entered eternal life on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at her home in Austin, Indiana. She was born on June 11, 1974 to JD and Mary Shelton. Christy was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church in New Washington, Indiana. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, cooking and sewing. Christy was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Visetchasiri, by her father, JD Shelton, by her brother, Willis Shelton and by her niece, Rebecca Akers.

Survivors include her partner, Amanda Langley of Austin, Indiana, her sons, Nicholas Shelton (Megan) of Clarksville, Indiana, Brandon Visetchaisri of Clarksville, Indiana, Tanner Visetchaisri of Clarksville, Indiana, Dillon Langley of Austin, Indiana, her daughters, Katelynn Langley of Scottsburg, Chasity Langley of Austin, Indiana, Mary Langley of Austin, Indiana, her mother, Mary Shelton of Charlestown, Indiana and her sister, Juanita Stucky (Steve) of Charlestown, Indiana. Christy also leaves behind several nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 21, 2022 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Forest Grove Cemetery (Willeys Chapel) in Memphis, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Garr Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses.
