Christopher "Chris" Murphy , 33, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at his home in Memphis, Indiana. He was born on June 8, 1986 to Michael and Patricia "Patty" Murphy (Broady) in New Albany, Indiana. Chris was a 2004 graduate of Henryville High School and an Industrial Electrician by trade. He was employed by M3 Solutions.  Chris was preceded in death by his grandfather, Delbert Murphy, grandmother, Hattie Broady, uncle, James Broady and by his aunt, Teresa McKim.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Patricia "Patty" Murphy of Memphis, Indiana, his sister, Trisha Murphy of Memphis, his grandfather, Franklin Broady of Memphis, his grandmother, Mary Murphy of Memphis and his nephew, Caleb Willingham of Memphis.

Funeral services will be held at 12;00 P.M. on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
