With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Christina Gail Jones, who departed this life on October 25, 2026, at the age of 47. She was born in New Albany, Indiana January 6, 1979 to Harold and Valenda Jones.

Christy was a beautiful soul with a love for life’s simple pleasures. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her beloved grandchildren. They were a special light in her life, and the moments she shared with them were filled with love, laughter, and memories that will be treasured forever.

Christy loved being outdoors, enjoying the fresh air, sunshine, and beauty of nature. She also had a passion for music, especially rock and roll. Whether she was singing along to her favorite songs, enjoying time outside, or making memories with her family, Christina knew how to find joy in the little things.

She will be remembered for her love of family, her free spirit, and the way she enjoyed life in her own special way. Though her time here on earth was far too short, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Christy leaves behind a lifetime of precious memories, especially with her grandchildren, who will forever carry a piece of her heart with them.

Although we can no longer hear her voice, we can still hear her in every favorite song, feel her warmth in the sunshine, and find her love in the laughter of her grandchildren.

Christy is preceded in death by her father Harold Jones, and her sister Heather.

Christy is survived by her mother Valenda Jones, Children Breanna and Dylan. Sisters Tonna, Debbie, Barb, Sondra, and Kim. Brother Sonny. Cherished grandchildren Ava, Kiara, Aryah, and Dorian. Nieces Allie, Danielle, and Kayla.
