Cheryl J. Martin, 72, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on November 1, 1945 in Junction City Kansas. Mrs. Martin retired from the United States Postal Service where she worked as a Rural Carrier. In her spare time she enjoyed volunteering for the Kentucky Organ Donor Association.  Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents, Sophian and Helen Johnson.  Survivors include her husband of 54 Years, John Martin of Sellersburg, her sons, Pat Martin (Amy) of Borden, Indiana, Dan Martin (Suzanne) of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Michael Martin (Angela) of Charlestown, Indiana. Mrs. Martin also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Kaeleb Martin, Ethan Martin, Kaitlyn Martin, Isaac Martin, Abigail Martin and Sean Martin. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with cremation to follow.
