Chad Allen Landers , 42, transitioned into eternal peace on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the University of Louisville Hospital following a brief illness. He was born on October 31, 1981 in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Chad dedicated his career to the mechanics of joy, serving as a mechanic at Blackiston Bowl Bowling Alley, where his skills and warm spirit brightened the lanes. A attendee of church services, Chad found solace and community at Northside Christian and Sellersburg Methodist Church.
A graduate of Silver Creek High School, Class of 2000, Chad left an indelible mark on the halls with his bright personality and unwavering determination. His passion for bowling knew no bounds, evident in his remarkable achievement of 10 perfect games—a testament to his skill and dedication to the sport he loved.
Beyond the lanes, Chad's zest for life was infectious, as he was always eager to embark on new adventures with friends and loved ones. His vibrant presence illuminated every gathering, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In a final act of generosity, Chad's legacy of giving continued as he bestowed the gift of life through organ donation, a noble gesture reflective of his compassionate nature.

Chad was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Chet and Della Mae Landers, his maternal grandparents, James and Peggy Blincoe, aunts, Debbie Zolman, Patricia Mosley and by his uncle, Rex Landers.
Survivors include his father, Chip Landers ( Lonita) of Sellersburg, Indiana, his mother, Sherry Peacock (Eric) of Sellersburg and his brothers, Matthew Landers (Katie) of Memphis, Indiana, Micah Landers of Louisville, Kentucky, Jason Hardsaw of Sellersburg and Dustin Peacock of Paoli, Indiana. Chad also leaves several aunts and cousins to cherish his memory
Funeral service will be at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
