Catherine Marie Williams , 76, passed away on Tuesday November 15, 2016 at her home in Clarksville. She was born on December 15, 1939 in Sellersburg, Indiana to the late James and Sudie Shields. Ms. Williams worked as a bag inspector at the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant. She was later employed at Beach Mold & Tool Inc. located in New Albany, Indiana. Ms. Williams was preceded in death by her brothers, James Jr., Elmer, and John Shields, and her sister, Dorothy Hembree. Survivors include her son Danny (Terri) Williams of Charlestown, her brothers, Thomas, Richard, and Michael Shields, all of Sellersburg, her sisters, Marcella and Christine Shields of Sellersburg and Elizabeth (Clifford) Harden of Sellersburg, her sisters-in-law, Patsy and Jan Shields, her grandson, Bryan (Candace) Williams, and her great grandson, Keaton Williams. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg, Indiana with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.
